MARAMING basher ang bagong Miss Universe Philippines na si Celeste Cortesi na kinukuwestiyon ang kanyang citizenship.
Laking-Italy kasi si Celeste at nagbalik lang sa bansa para sumabak sa beauty contest.
Lucky for her, napanalunan naman niya ang mga title tulad na lang ng sumabak siya sa Miss Earth Philippines 2018 at naging top 8 sa Miss Earth, at ngayon nga ang titulo naman ng Miss Universe Philippines.
Sa pagdami ng basher ni Celeste na duda sa kanyang Filipino citizenship, ay to the rescue naman ang pageant mentor, talent manager and Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) creative director na si Jonas Gaffud.
Giit ni Jonas, sa Pilipinas diumano ipinanganak si Celeste at may documents silang hawak para patunayan ito.
“Someone won already. And yes, @celeste_cortesi is a Filipina. She has her papers, birth certificate and passport. She was born in the Philippines.
