Ito ang pinagsigawan ni Kim Chiu matapos tanghaling Best Female TV Host award sa 35th PMPC Star Awards for TV last January 28;
Sa kanyang Instagram post ay nagpasalamat si Kim sa parangal na ipinagkaloob sa kanya at masayang=masaya dahil first award daw niya ito bilang host.
“What a way to start the year! Thank you PMPC Star Awards for this recognition. From guest co-host to regular host, from face shield to no face shield. From bashing to brushing it off and using it as constructive criticism. I used those words not to put me down but used them as a weapon to do better in what I am doing, “ say ni Kim sa kanyang post.
Hindi niya akalain na kaya niya pala mag-host because of her voice.
“Hosting is not my strength with my voice, years ago, when I started showbiz. Mr M (Johnny Manahan) pushed me to attend series of workshops in voice modulation. Diko gets before but now nahilot naman ng konte, thank you po.
“Never have I thought na makakapag-host ako. From the bottom of my heart, I feel grateful to my ABS CBN Family. Star Magic Family and of course, my SHOWTIME family. For not giving up on me and for all the trust na binibigay nila sa akin. Every day is a learning experience, and every day is endless opportunities and chances. Thank you fam.
“LEGIT HOST NA ako!!!! First award as a host and Im over the moon,” dagdag ni Kim.
Nagpasalamat muli si Kim sa PMPC, sa kanyang It’s Showtime family, gayundin sa lahat ng kanyang supporters at sa mga taong gumabay sa kanya.
