LAST minute ay nag-back out umano si John Lloyd Cruz sa project ni Khavn dela Cruz para sa rock opera na sa Berlin entitled “SuperMacho AntiKristo” o SMAK.
Apat na araw bago lumipad patungong Berlin kumalas si JLC sa musical play na mapanood sa Germany’s most iconic theater ma Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.
Ayon ksy Khavn, “Hayaan na lang natin siya.”
Naka-receive daw siya ng email mula sa management ni John Lloyd, ang Crown Artist tungkol sa biglaang pag back out ng aktor sa SMAK.
Ang rason nila umano ay dahil sa safety and security due the Ukraine-Russia conflict and the German Embassy’s requirement for foreigners coming to the country to have second booster shot of Moderna or Pfizer.
Iisa lang daw ang booster shot ng aktor.
Lumipad na ang grupo last March 11 patungong Berlin at ang kanilang rehearsals ay nag-umpisa na last March 14.
“SMAK” will have its world premiere on April 13 and will run for six more performances until April 28.
Though, wala pa raw silang nahahanap.na replacement ni Lloydie naiintindihan naman daw niya ang aktor.
Pero, may pasubali.si Khavn: “I think I learned my lesson well when it comes hiring big stars. I respect his management company’s decision and I am still looking forward to working again with John Lloyd.”
Before flying to Berlin, he invited an acclaimed Filipino actor based abroad and a well-known German theater actor to fill in for Cruz’s role though nothing is final yet.
