INAMIN ni GMA Network president Gilbert ‘Jimmy’ Duavit na ”isinalba” ng “It’s Showtime” ang Jalosjos noontime show na nag-flop noon.
Ang lakas daw ng ratings rebound ng noontime TV wars pagkatapos na nawala ang Jalosjos family’s program in favor of ABS-CBN’s top-rated “It’s Showtime.”
“The ratings have improved quite substantially, in comparison to the ratings of the noontime program it replaced, quite substantially,” ayon kay Duavit.
Nang mabalik sa TVJ ang rights ng “Eat Bulaga” ay nag-produce Jalosjos family ng “Tahanang Pinakamasaya,” pero sinibak din sa loob ng tatlong buwan dahil pababa nang pababa ang ratings nito habang lumalaki naman ang unpaid dues sa network.
Pinalitan nga ito ng ABS-CBN noontime na “It’s Showtime” last April 6.
Rebelasyon pa ng GMA president, naka-recover umano ang network whatever losses it incurred from the debacle with the Jalosjos noontime show.
“The agreement surrounding It’s Showtime effectively compensates for the prior agreement we had with TAPE, Inc. It would practically be a wash,” say ni Duavit.
