May tsikang “disbanded” na umano ang Callalily, ang bandang kinaaaniban ng vocalist na si Kean Cipriano.
Ayon sa mga tsika, iniwan umano ni Kean ang banda kung saan 17 years siyang bokabalista ng grupo.
Ayon sa Lily Music, mag-i-isyu raw sila ng official statement soon.
Esklusibo namang nainterbyu ang aktres na si Chynna Ortaleza, ang misis ni Kean at O/C Records vice president, klinaro niyang hindi umalis ng banda si Kean but rather “disengaged” from them.
Say ni Chynna: “He did decide to leave the set-up of being in a band. However, Callalily kasi was always under his intellectual property. The brand stays with him.”
“If I look kasi into how it’s being phrased at the moment, syempre it’s easy to say na, ‘oh, he left Callalily.’ But he just left the format of the band. He did disengage with his former bandmates but the name Callalily stays with Kean Cipriano.”
Dagdag pa ng misis ng singer: “Kean wanted to license the name to his former bandmates, but I don’t think they understood what that meant. And it’s being loosely thrown in social media na he stole (the name). Sabi ko nga, we know the truth naman and if they cannot understand what happened, I guess that’s just how the story is. And they have more years ahead of them to learn about the rights and the business of music.”
Ayon pa sa aktres, they tried to fix things properly with Kean’s former bandmates.
“Sino ba naman yung gustong to leave things in the air na hindi siya plantsado?”
Giit pa niya, nag-try daw na mag-set ng meeting sa grupo si Kean dahil gusto raw nitong mailagay sa ayos ang lahat.
“It’s just very unfortunate that his bandmates didn’t want to talk to us anymore despite the continued efforts of trying to get in touch with them because we want to fix things.”
Kuda naman ng netizens sa mahabang paliwanag ni Chynna:
“Kasi naman ang hilig ni Kean sa mga ganitong eksena may aalis na vocalist tas dadalhin nung vocalist ang name ng band..sana kng.mag so-solo mag solo nalang at iwan nalng sa natira yung name ng band gaya ng rivermaya at moonstar88..kaloka ka Kean”
“Ansave sa taas Lily Music will release an official statement, pero haba na ng hanash asawa niya.”
“Pinag mukha naman nyang walang backbone ang asawa niya. She could have just said na Kian will air his side soon.. kaso inunahan na niya unless part siya ng band”
