Once again, those behind the black propagandist social media account calling itself, “One Manira” has shown their utter lack of decency.
I learned that recently, that account had been recycling old posts from the own account of a former media personality who was recently shot dead, under still mysterious circumstances.
The said recycled posts were all baseless attacks on the sitting officials of the city of Manila and those behind “One Manira” are having the time of their life using someone dead for their own, selfish ends.
The shooting incident is yet to be resolved to the end and the one year ‘babang luksa’ or time of grieving for his family is still over ten months away and yet, here is “One Manira” disrespecting all that, all in the name of dirty politics.
Ethically, the right of the dead to rest in eternal peace was thrown out the window here.
Such right is not only for the spiritual sake of the dead person. It is a matter of respect for him and those he had left behind, plain and simple.
The dead deserves respect and using him to tarnish the reputation of one’s political rivals is just despicable. Wala talagang delikadesa.
I am sure that everyone who dies would want those he would leave behind to not inherit his enemies and instead maintain positive relationships with as many people as possible.
Even in death, “One Manira” is creating enemies for the said person. In law, there is a term called, ‘scoffing’ or ‘outraging’ the dead. This includes any act which would add to the mental suffering of the heirs of the victim or which offends the public.
I know that one of those principally behind “One Manira” is a lawyer and although he is not prominent in the field of legal profession, he must at least have an idea that using the dead for their political interests is wrong, legally, morally and ethically.
Apparently, the culprits are too coward to mount the attacks themselves that they had to use the dead to push their evil intentions. Pathetically too, they have no legitimate issues to raise that they resort to recycling posts and accusations.
Their virtual lack of respect for the dead only goes to show the kind of characters operating “One Manira.” If they cannot respect the dead, how else can they respect the living?
All they care about is themselves and their selfish, political interests in the hope of reviving their pathetically dead political career. Sooo pathetic.
Once again, I dare these uscrupulous people. Come out in the open and stop using the dead. Have some balls, for once, will you??
