“This is to make clear to the public that there is no patient with confirmed case of Mpox admitted currently admitted at R1MC,” ani Sydiongco.
There is no need to panic dahil wala po tayong kaso ng Mpox sa Pangasinan sa ngayon.”
“Be wary of fake news and social media sites that uses the logo of DOH and WHO. Always get your information on legitimate websites and proper health authorities such as DOH, R1MC official FB page and official news sources,” dagdag pa nito.
“We urge the public to be vigilant and discerning in sharing and believing information online. Spreading unverified information may cause unnecessary panic and stigma. Let us all work together to ensure the dissemination of accurate and responsible information,” panawagan pa ni Medical Center Chief II, Dr. Joseph Roland O. Mejia.
“Maintaining good hygiene, following health advisories, and staying informed are key steps in protecting yourself and your community,” anang DOH.
