Inianunsiyo ng Archdiocese of Manila nitong Martes na sinimulan na nila ang konstruksiyon sa Pilipinas ng kauna-unahang “center for exorcism” sa Asya.
Nabatid na ang naturang center ay matatagpuan sa Guadalupe Viejo sa Makati City at tatawagin itong “Saint Michael Center for Spiritual Liberation and Exorcism.”
“This center will minister to those in bondage to the devil who are therefore the poorest of the poor and are usually overlooked,” ayon kay Archdiocese of Manila Office on Exorcism (AMOE) director Fr. Francisco Syquia.
Nabatid na isinagawa ang groundbreaking ng proyekto noong Mayo 17.
Ang aktibidad ay sinaksihan mismo ni Manila Archbishop Cardinal Jose Advincula at ni Syquia.
Ani Syquia, ang proyekto ay kauna-unahan sa Asya at produkto ng mahigit pitong taong pananalangin, pagpaplano at fundraising.
Matatagpuan dito ang Commission on Extraordinary Phenomena, Ministry of Exorcism Office, at ang Ministry on Visions and Phenomena Office ng arkidiyosesis.
Magsisilbi rin itong headquarters ng Philippine Association of Catholic Exorcists (PACE), na nasa ilalim ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP).
