A businesswoman and her live-in partner after being ambushed by an unidentified assailant just outside the municipal court in the town of Nasugbu, Batangas province.
In a report, the motive of the perpetrator in the killing of the victims, Rosola Vivas and her live-in partner, Clement Jalijali of Barangay Natipuan, Nasugbu, is still unknown.
It appeared in the preliminary investigation that the live-in partners attended the court hearing and while they were walking on the road on the side of the court towards their car, the suspect attacked them and shot them.
The woman died on the spot due to bullet wounds in different parts of the body while trying to save the life of her partner who was able to run to the hospital.
Several policemen who happened to be inside the trial court immediately responded but the unidentified suspect who allegedly rode a motorcycle that was parked not far from the crime scene quickly escaped.
