TRANSIT LOUNGE SA NAIA 1, BINUKSAN PARA SA MGA PASAHERONG MAY CONNECTING FLIGHT

Pormal nang binuksan ni Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) general manager Eric Ines kasama ang President and Chief Operating Officer ng Philippine Airlines (PAL) na si Capt. Stanley Ng, ang bagong Transit Lounge sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1.

Ang nasabing transit lounge, na matatagpuan sa pre-departure area katabi ng OFW Lounge, ay magiging bukas 24 oras upang magbigay ng komportableng hintayan para sa mga pasaherong may connecting flight.

Napag-alaman kay MIAA General Manager Eric Jose Ines na sa ilalim ng partnership agreement, ang lounge ay pananatilihin at pamamahalaan ng MIAA habang ang PAL ay magbibigay naman ng mga amenities tulad ng komportableng upuan, charging station, shower facility at amusement options para maayos na makakilos ang mga pasahero.


Sa nasabing lounge, maaring ma-accommodate ang mahigit 100 pasahero.

Umaasa naman si Ines na hindi maaapektuhan ang naturang pasilidad sa gagawing turnover sa buwan ng September sa SMC para sa gagawing rehabilitation ng NAIA.

“We trust that travelers will find the facility as a welcome respite while enroute to their final destinations,” ani Ines.

Ayon naman kay Ng: “Our working partnership with the MIAA on this much-needed project has yielded positive results. This transit lounge ensures the comfort and convenience of passengers traveling through the Manila gateway. PAL always advocates collaboration with industry partners. Together, we can do things better.”
