ELEMENTS of the NAIA IADITG conducted an operation at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) Domestic Road, Pasay City on April 2, 2025 resulting in the discovery of abandoned inbound parcels containing dried leaves suspected to be marijuana kush with a total gross weight of more or less 5,703 grams with standard drug price value of P8,554,500.
According to the report submitted by PDEA- RO-NCR, the abandoned parcels were declared as rice TH, pillows, dried fruits, tea and toys.
The shipper and receiver involved are subject to investigation and filing of appropriate charges in violation of RA 9165.
Drug evidence will be submitted to PDEA Laboratory Service for laboratory examination.
