Vice Mayor Yul Servo will have a solo exhibition titled, “Directions 6, A harmonious family leads to prosperity in everything.” ????? (jia hé wàn shì xing).”
“We are honored to extend an invitation for a captivating evening celebrating Yul Servo’s potent artistic abilities,” the Art District Gallery said.
The said exhibition opening will be on January 15, 2025 at 7 p.m. at the Manila Hotel.
In his sixth solo exhibition, Servo the artist honors Chinese-Filipino heritage by reinventing his signature metalwork paintings.
His new style is a unique blend of abstraction and merges elements of modern Cubism, cartography (the art of map-making), and assemblage art.
The exhibit was described as “an immersive event that showcases his Servo’s sixth series of amazing scrap metal artworks, a chance to meet the artist and discover the stories behind each piece.”
