The Armed Forces of the Philippines renders arrival honors to the newly promoted LtGen Steve Crespillo, The Inspector General AFP, following the donning of ranks ceremony held at the AFP General Headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

SIX SENIOR OFFICERS DON NEW RANKS

CAMP AGUINALDO, Quezon City—Six senior military officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines were promoted to their next higher ranks in a donning ceremony presided by General Romeo Brawner Jr, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, at the AFP General Headquarters here.

The promoted officers were LtGen Steve Crespillo, The Inspector General AFP; MGen Arvin Lagamon, Deputy Chief of Staff for Civil-Military Operations, J7; Commodore Peter Jempsun De Guzman, Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, AJ3; BGen Benedict Balaba, Deputy Chief of the Intelligence Service AFP; BGen Ramon Flores, Commandant of Cadets of the Philippine Military Academy; and BGen Ivan Papera, Chief of the AFP Systems Engineering Office.


In his message to the officers, General Brawner urged them to continue to demonstrate the AFP core values of Honor, Integrity, and Service in performing their roles as military leaders.

“Leadership requires courage, conviction, and a deep sense of duty. Lead by example and instill these values in those you lead and inspire them to be the best version of themselves,” the CSAFP said.

The personal honors were rendered to military officers, including the newly promoted generals and flag officers in the General Headquarters, their respective Major Service, and their own headquarters.
