Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City — Six drug users were caught in flagrante delicto by police operatives while having pot session on July 12, 2022 at Purok-7, Brgy. Luklukan Sur, Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte.
The suspects were identified as Raymond Ibis, 22 years old; Zaldy Jamito, 31 years old, both of Brgy. Capacuan, Jose Panganiban; Joseph Dasco, 27 years old; Mark Anthony Obar, 23 years old both from Brgy. Sta Rosa Sur; Freddie Rieza, 39 years old, a resident of Brgy. Plaridel, Jose Panganiban; and Josue Sales, 48 years old, from Brgy. Luklukan Norte, Jose Panganiban all of Camarines Norte.
They were arrested in an anti-drug operation launched by personnel of Jose Panganiban MPS with the help of the Barangay Officials of said barangay who informed the police with regards the illicit activity of the mentioned individuals.
Seized in the place of incident were three (3) pieces of plastic sachet with residue of white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu”; aluminum foil; lighter; and tooter.
The operation was conducted in the presence of mandatory witnesses from the media and barangay elected officials.
Meanwhile, the arrested suspects who are now under the custody of Jose Panganiban MPS will be facing charges for violation of RA 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
