Arestado ng National Bureau of Investigation- Anti-Organized and Transnational Crime Division (NBI-AOTCD) ang isang lalaking sextortionist noong Oktubre 8 ,2023 sa Las Piñas City.
Sinampahan ng kasong Grave Coercion (Sextortion) sa ilalim ng Article 282 of the RPC; R.A. 9995 (Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009); R.A. 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004 ) pawang may kaugnayan sa R.A. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012); at Rape by Sexual Assault sa ilalim ng Article 266-A(2) ng RPC ang suspect na kinilala lamang na si Torres.
Ang operasyon ay nag-ugat sa reklamo ng biktima laban kay Torres matapos siyang pagbantaan na ia-upload at ikakalat ang kanyang sex videos at hubad na larawan .
“The operation stemmed from a complaint filed by the victim against Torres. According to the complainant, Torres threatened to upload and spread her sex videos and nude photos if she refuses to meet,” ayon sa reklamo.
Inatasan ng suspek ang biktima na pumunta sa kanyang apartment sa Las Piñas.
Lingid sa kaalaman ng suspek ay nagreklamo ang biktima sa NBI-AOTCD na nagplano ng entrapment operation.
Pagpasok ng biktima sa apartment ng suspek ay dito na inaresto ang suspek ng mga nakaposisyon na ahente ng NBI kung saan nakita si Torres na ‘half naked’.
Nasamsam ng NBI ang 1 laptop, 3 cellphones at company I.D.
Si Torres ay dinala sa Las Piñas Prosecutors Office para i-inquest sa mga kasong isinampa laban sa kanya.
