EMBATTLED Senator Loren Legarda and her son, Batangas Rep. Leandro Leviste, reportedly left the country aboard separate flights and destinations but on the same day.
The two were said to have left on August 2, 2026.
Reportedly, Legarda had filed for medical leave and was set to go to Europe while Leviste went to HongKong.
Both had travel authorities and had no derogatory record or hold-departure orders issued against them.
Legarda’s medical leave filed in the Senate is said to be from August 3 to 5, with a subsequent extension through August 8.
Legarda and Leviste are both facing a preliminary investigation for plunder and graft regarding solar projects.
