Two successful buy-bust operations were conducted by joint operatives of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office IV-A and local police which resulted to the arrest of regional target listed drug personalities the other day.
At about 7:20 in the evening, PDEA RO IV-A Special Enforcement Unit, PDEA Cavite Provincial Office and Santa Rosa City Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Labas, Santa Rosa City, Laguna.
This led to the arrest of suspect Paul Ochoa y De Luna alias Kule, 40, male, married, welder. Confiscated during the operation were more or less 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000 and buy-bust money.
At about 8:40 in the evening, PDEA Cavite Provincial Office (PO), PDEA RO IV-B Romblon PO and Bacoor City Police Station arrested Edwin Cuevas y Ret alias Erwin, alleged drug den maintainer, Joel Emocling y Cañedo and Chris Orlan Gabaldon during a buy-bust operation which resulted in the confiscation of more or less 15 grams of suspected shabu, various drug paraphernalia and buy-bust money and the discovery and dismantling of a drug den in Barangay Mabolo III, Bacoor City, Cavite.
Appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects who are now in the custody of PDEA RO IV-A Jail Facility in Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna.
