REELECTED Congressman Joel Chua of the third district of Manila took his oath of office before Supreme Court Associate Justice Jhosep Y. Lopez, vowing to provide even more and better services for his constituents.
After his oath-taking, Chua expressed gratitude to the residents of the third district of Manila for having given him another mandate.
“Muli, maraming salamat po sa inyong patuloy na tiwala at suporta at makakaasa po kayo na hindi ko sasayangin ang inyong mga boto at patuloy ang ating pagsisikap sa darating na 20th Congress,” Chua stressed.
As one of the top performers in the House of Representatives, Rep. Chua also received from the Lower House a certificate and medal as part of the 19th Congress and Committee Chairman.
He also attended an Ecumenical Service for Impeachment Prosecutors of the House of Representatives.
“Nawa’y tayo po ay gabayan at protektahan ng Diyos Ama sa ating tatahaking laban. Patuloy po tayong manalangin para sa katotohan at hustisya sa ating bansa,” Rep. Chua vowed.
Rep. Chua led a thorough probe on the alleged confidential fund (CF) misuse in the office of Vice President Sara Duterte and based on findings, his panel recommended the filing of various criminal charges against the VP and officials from the Office of the Vice President (OVP) and the Department of Education (DepEd).
