Camp Navarro, Calarian, Zamboanga City – Undersecretary Pedro Cesar Ramboanga, Jr., Executive Director, Presidential Commission on Visiting Forces (PCVF) visited the Western Mindanao Command on November 15, 2022.
Brig. Gen. Arturo Rojas, Acting Commander of the Western Mindanao Command, together with the Command Staff welcomed the distinguished visitor at the Laong Laan Hall of the Command. Their discussion focused on the assessment of the status of the visiting forces within WestMinCom’s joint areas of operation.
The WestMinCom Acting Commander briefed the undersecretary on the contributions of the US forces to the mission accomplishment of the command. “Our allies are one of our consistent partners in delivering prompt and substantial services to the Filipino people, particularly in far-flung communities,” Brig. Gen. Rojas said.
“We are grateful for the helpfulness of the US forces in our resolve to end terrorism and violent extremism here in Mindanao. Their knowledge and expertise which they share with our troops are contributing to the success of our mission,” Brig. Gen. Rojas further stated. (VICTOR BALDEMOR RUIZ)
