Bagong Calarian, Zamboanga City – The Naval Forces Western Mindanao, through its intelligence operatives, provided support to law enforcement operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) IX during their Anti-Illegal Drugs Buy-Bust Operation which led to the apprehension of two personalities at the Budget wise Supermarket in Brgy. Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City.
During the operation, the operatives were able to seize a white crystalline substance inside a transparent plastic in the possession of the suspects believed to be shabu along with the money used. Likewise, the confiscated illegal substance weighs around one kilogram and has DDB standard market value of P6,800,000.
Moreover, the confiscated items, along with the arrested individuals, are currently under the custody of PDEA-9 Zamboanga Field Unit (ZFU) for quantitative and qualitative examination and proper disposition.
