Three Filipinos and a Chinese national were arrested by operatives from the PNP-Aviation Security Group NCR for serious kidnapping, while they were in Bay 5 South Wing Domestic Departure Curbside Area, NAIA Terminal 2, Pasay City.
The Chinese suspect was identified as Chen Hua, of No. 7 Maria Luisa Homes, Brgy, Banilad, Cebu, while the three Filipinos were named as follows: Hanif Mala Bautil, 29, said to be the driver of a White Toyota Grandia with Plate no. NEU 2812, and a resident of No. 2 Champaca St., Western Bicutan, Taguig City; Robic Corminal Santisas, 48, said to be an alleged Philippine Army Reserve, driver, of No. 541 Calye Cuatro St, Brgy 78, Zone 7, Caloocan City and Mickel Rosel Proviso, 37, reportedly an ex- Philippine Army, Customer Service Representative of Powergate Infinity Holdings Corporation and resident of Purok 6, Brgy Fatima, General Santos City.
The victim, identified as Zhang Jianping, also a Chinese national and a passenger of PAL Flight PR1863 bound for Cebu said to be a resident of Shell Tower B Residence, Brgy 76, Pasay City.
PNP AVSEC-NCR Chief Col. Cesar Gerente said that at around 7:30 p.m. of November 15, 2022, at Bay 5 South Wing Domestic Departure Curbside Area, Terminal 2, Pasay City, Yancee Beltran, 22, approached PCpl Glenn Albalate, duty ISSCP, Pat. Jay Brian Matibag, duty SW curbside and PMSG Mark Gil Ibon, duty Southwing Entrance Departure, with an information that her boyfriend, Zian Jianping, a Chinese national, was allegedly under the custody of unidentified male persons on board a white Toyota Grandia with plate no. NEU 2812.
She told the said PNP group that the victim was illegally detained and about to depart NAIA Terminal 2 bound for Cebu via PAL airlines when taken.
Immediately, the PNP-AVSEC team was able to intercept the said Toyota Grandia where the victim was on board, along with the four suspects. Two of the suspects, Corminal and Proviso, were found in possession of firearms, namely a caliber M45 Norin with serial number of BA132299 and a caliber 9mm. (JERRY S. TAN)
