PINAY NA OPISYAL SA MANILA ARCHDIOCESE, ITINALAGA SA VATICAN BANK

Isang Pilipinang abogada na miyembro ng Archdiocesan Finance Board ng Archdiocese of Manila ang itinalaga sa Vatican Finance Office.

Napag-alaman na si Atty. Shiela Marie L. Uriarte Tan ay itinalaga bilang bagong miyembro ng ‘The Board of Superentendence ng Instituto per le Opere de Religione’, nitong Pebrero 4, 2025.

“We welcome Sheila Marie L. Uriarte-Tan. Her impressive experience and leadership skills in international banking and finance will help the IOR enhance the Board renovation process initiated last autumn,” ayon naman kay Jean-Baptiste de Franssu, president ng Board of Supervision.


“Her joining us is a significant step towards strengthening the Institute’s strategic goals and improving the quality of services for our clients and the Holy See,”dagdag pa ng opisyal.

Ayon sa Archdiocese, si Tan ay nagtapos ng economics at law graduate sa University of the Philippines-Diliman at may 30 taon nang karanasan sa banking and asset management.

Bukod sa pagiging miyembro ng Finance Board, nakaupo rin si Tan bilang trustee and executive committee member ng Pope Pius XII Catholic Center at San Juan de Dios Educational Foundation sa Manila.


Humawak rin ng mahalagang posisyon si Tan sa Bank of the Philippine Islands, naging president at CEO Ng BPI Asset Management & Trust Corporation, nagkaroon ng executive roles sa BPI Capital Corporation at nagsilbi bilang Co-Managing Director ng Ayala Group Legal.
