NAVAL STATION JOSE ANDRADA, Manila – The Philippine Navy (PN) actively took part in the execution of the Combined Amphibious Assault Exercise with Australian counterparts held at Naval Station Leovigildo Gantioqui in Zambales last week.
Troops and amphibious assault vehicles from the Philippine Marine Corps, and landing dock BRP Davao Del Sur (LD602) saw action in simulating an amphibious operation to retake an enemy-captured island, a drill that was part of the Exercise Alon 2023 in line with Australia’s Indo-Pacific Endeavour program.
