The Chief of Naval Staff of the Philippine Navy, Commodore Jose Ma Ambrosio Ezpeleta, attended the 2nd iteration of the Navy to Navy Talks between the Philippine Navy and the Republic of Korea Navy as the PH Navy’s Head of Delegation on December 1, 2022 at the Busan Naval Base in South Korea.
RDML Kang Jeongho, the Head of Policy at the Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) headquarters, warmly welcomed the PN delegation.
Vice Admiral Kang Dong Hun, the Commander of the Fleet of the ROKN also graciously welcomed the PN delegation led by Commodore Ezpeleta at the ROKN Fleet headquarters where the talks was held and expressed his support to the Philippine Navy and the developing cooperation between the two Navies.
The highlight of the talks focused on education and training, people to people exchanges, logistics cooperation, combined exercises and ship visits.
This furthers the Command’s endeavors to foster bilateral ties and lasting relationships in the pursuit of regional cooperation and stability. (VICTOR BALDEMOR RUIZ)
