Naging mapayapa ang kabuuang sitwasyon sa araw ng panunumpa ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., kahapon ayon sa ibat ibant security forces ng gobyerno na nagsagawa ng paghahanda kabilang ang PNP at Office of Civil Defense.
Ayon kay PNP officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Vicente Danao Jr., na implementa ng maayos at mapayapa ng kapulisan ganun din ang Manila Task Force Shield, ang inilatag na security blanket sa inagurasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Bongbong Romualdez Marcos Jr.
Nagalak din ang OCD na hindi nagamit ang ikinasa emergency preparedness and response services ng National Incident Management Team sa makasaysayang oath taking ng 17th President, sa National Museum of Fine Arts.
Nabatid na ang Office of Civil Defense (OCD) ang siyang nangunguna sa Joint Task Group on Emergency Preparedness for Response (JTG EPR) sa Manila.
Ayon sa ahensya , “OCD has been handling planned events previously such as the Black Nazarene Traslacion and international events including APEC meetings, and ASEAN summit.”
Ang nasabing joint group ay binubuo ng limang Task Groups: 1. TG Fire Safety and Fire Suppression; 2. TG Chemical, Biological Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives, 3. TG Medical Emergency and Management; 4. Search, Rescue, and Retrieval, at 5. Task Group Service Support na siyang magkakaloob ng response services sa panahong nagaganap ang panunumpa ng Pangulo sakaling dumating ang hindi inaasahang pangangailangan.
Ang task group ay may 406 personnel mula sa OCD, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Health, Philippine National Police, Armed Forces of the Philippines, Bureau of Fire Protection, Philippine Coast Guard, Local Government Units of Parañaque, at Valenzuela.
Ang IMT ay gumagamit ng Incident Command System, isa sa flagship programs ng OCD. Itinatag ito bilang isang “on-scene disaster response tool” ng Philippine DRRM system. This tool is being utilized to coordinate actions of all response groups involved.
Samantala wala rin aniyang anumang malalaking insidente o krimen na naganap sa buong Metro Manila at maging sa buong bansa.
Pinasalamatan ni Danao at binati nito ang mga kapulisan na nagbigay ng seguridad sa araw ng panunumpa ni Marcos.
Ibinida rin ni National Capital Region Police Office Regional Director, PMGen. Felipe R Natividad na ang Inagurasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ay “generally peaceful” kung saan walang naitalang malalaking insidente sa buong rehiyon.
Naniniwala naman ang Philippine Army na ang matagumpay na makasaysayang okasyon ay sa pagkakaisa ng lahat ng pwersa ng Police, Military at iba pang mga ahensya ng pamahalaan.
Ayon kay Army spokesman Col Xerxes Trinidad . The Philippine Army (PA) joined the Philippine National Police and other government security forces in ensuring the peaceful and orderly inaugural and oath-taking ceremony of President “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr.
“PA deployed troops and contingency forces to support the National Capital Region Police Office and other government security forces in securing the National Museum and adjoining areas. The command likewise deployed personnel to augment the Presidential Security Group, the Commander-in-Chief’s close-in security and escort personnel,” ani Col. Trinidad.
Naglagay ang Army ng communications van, armored assets, ambulances, at teams of explosive and ordnance disposal (EOD); K9; civil disturbance management (CDM); chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN); at medics para palakasin ang naka deploy na AFP Joint Task Force NCR.
