PAF ENSURES GOOD GOVERNANCE WITH PROCUREMENT REFRESHER TRAINING

The Philippine Air Force (PAF), in partnership with Government Procurement Policy Board-Technical Support Office (GPPB-TSO), concluded the three-day Refresher Training for RA 9184, also known as the Government Procurement Reform Act, at Clark Air Base, Pampanga.

According to Col Ma Consuelo Castillo PAF Spokesperson, the activity was conducted through a hybrid set-up and was participated in by the members of the PAF’s Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), BAC Secretariat, Technical Working Group members, and other personnel involved in procurement.

The comprehensive refresher training provided participants with an in-depth understanding of procurement policies and related laws, empowering them to enhance the efficient execution of ongoing and future PAF projects, Col Castillo said.


In his address, Vice Commander MGEN AUGUSTINE S MALINIT PAF expressed gratitude to all participants and highlighted the significance of the training in their day-to-day operations.

Mgen Malinit also emphasized each member’s vital role in upholding the PAF’s commitment to the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and good governance.


Through strengthened adherence to good governance practices, the PAF reaffirms its dedication to excellence and integrity, enhancing its reputation as a pillar of trust and reliability in serving the nation.
