In a sweeping week-long anti-drug campaign, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), in collaboration with the Philippine National Police (PNP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and regional law enforcement units, has dealt a crippling blow to illegal drug networks across the country. From June 13 to June 20, 2025, authorities conducted 75 high-impact operations, resulting in the seizure of P486.85 million worth of narcotics and the arrest of 82 drug suspects.
PDEA Director General Undersecretary Isagani Nerez emphasized the relentless commitment of PDEA and other law enforcement agencies.
The confiscated drugs for the week have an estimated street value of PhP486.85 million, which is one of the biggest hauls in the recent history of anti-drug operations of PDEA and other law enforcement agencies.
