P 7.6-M HALAGA NG PARTY DRUGS, NASABAT PORT OF CLARK

NASA 4,491 piraso ng ‘party drug tablets’ na mas kilala sa tawag na ‘ecstasy’ na nagkakahalaga ng P7,634,700 ang nasabat ng mga tauhan ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) at Bureau of Customs, sa isinagawang anti-narcotics interdiction operation sa Port of Clark kamakalawa ng tanghali.

Ayon sa PDEA Clark Interdiction Unit chief, nagmula ang nasabat na kontrabando mula Belgium at dumating sa Port of Clark kamakailan.


Una rito ay nakatanggap ng impormasyon na may kuwestyunableng parcel ang darating mula sa Belgium sa Port of Clark, kaya’t agad na ipinaabot ang naturang impormasyon sa PDEA Intelligence Service sa PDEA Regional Office 3 at inilatag ang isasagawang interdiction operation.

“PDEA International Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Service (ICFAS) received information that a certain parcel from Belgium will arrive at Port of Clark. The said information was relayed by PDEA Intelligence Service (PDEA IS) to PDEA Regional Office 3 which led to the successful interdiction operation”, ayon sa PDEA team leader.

Agad na sinuring mabuti ng PDEA Clark personnel at Bureau of Custom (BOC) Port of Clark ang package na naglalaman ng ecstasy at napatunayan na positibo ang resulta.


Isinagawa ng pinagsanib na puwersa ng PDEA Clark Interdiction Unit, Bureau of Custom, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Pampanga District Office, Philippine National Police – Aviation Security Unit 3 (PNP-AVSEGROUP), PNP Drug Enforcement Group, PDEA Intelligence Section, at PDEA SES K-9 Unit.

Masusing sinuri ng PDEA Regional Office 3 Laboratory ang naturang iligal na droga para sa forensic examination.
