The Naval Forces Central held the Opening Ceremony of the Philippine Navy Mobilization Exercise (MOBEX) 2024 aboard Naval Forces Central Area of Responsibility (AOR) at NFC Gymnasium, Naval Base Rafael Ramos, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu.
Vice Adm. Toribio D Adaci Jr., the the Flag Officer In Command, Philippine Navy (FOIC, PN) graced the Opening Ceremony of the PN Mobilization Exercise (MOBEX) 2024 as the Guest of Honor and Speaker (GOHAS).
Side Boys Honors was accorded to VADM ADACI JR PN and was cordially welcomed by Team NFC headed by COMMO Florante N Gagua PN, Commander of Naval Forces Central.
According to Commo. Gagua, the PN MOBEX 2024 is an annual training exercise to evaluate the PN Mobilization Plan 2021 as part of the “Total Force” Concept, focusing on integrating and enhancing the skills of the PN Reserve Force as Force Multipliers for the Regular Force.
Participants include Reservists from PN Reservists from Naval Reserve Center – Eastern Visayas (NRCen-EV) and Naval Reserve Center – Western Visayas (NRCen-WV) as well as other personnel from subordinate units of the Command and other Law Enforcement Agencies and Local Government Unit in the Region.
The training aims to improve individual skills, unit coordination, camaraderie, and equipment readiness, ensuring the PN Reserve Force is prepared for national emergencies together with the PN Regular Force.
“We are reinforcing our commitment to a stronger and more united force. This exercise will bring together our Regular Forces and PN Reservists to test their ability to respond to defense and disaster scenario”, VADM Adaci Jr., said.
In a significant event, the Flag Officer In Command also bid farewell during his visit to Naval Forces Central, where he highlighted the Philippine Navy’s commitment to leadership capabilities and emphasized the PN’s modernization efforts.
VADM Adaci Jr. PN’s visit marked a poignant moment, as it not only honored his achievements during his tenure but also showcased the legacy of innovation and commitment he leaves behind through his exemplary leadership and dedication to advancing the mission of the Philippine Navy.
