Inaasahan ng Malakanyang na hindi magiging benggador si President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa outgoing administration ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Ayon kay acting presidential spokesperson Martin Andanar said Marcos Jr. ,umaasa siya na hindi magiging “sisi” president si Marcos at dapat pamarisan niya ang pagihing matigas na Presidente ni Duterte.
“President Duterte is a president that really veers away from (finger pointing), ayaw niya manisi. Maraming mga sectors ang gustong kasuhan si former President Noynoy Aquino because of the Mamasapano incident, pero si presidente hindi niya ginawa yun. Hindi benggador. Ayaw niya yung kultura na pinapakulong yung president,” ayon kay Andanar.
“It’s really about moving forward and fixing the country. That example of President Duterte, I believe, will be continued by President-elect (Marcos) since he represents Team Unity, pagkakaisa. I think he will not blame the past administration… I don’t think that is his character (either),” dagdag ni Andanar.
