A lone bettor became an instant millionaire after winning the P401 million jackpot of Grand Lotto 6/55 while another bettor bagged the P5.94 million jackpot of regular lotto in the July 9 draw.
According to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), the winning combination for the 6/55 drawwas 02-18- 49- 07-19-47 and the bettor purchased the ticket from an outlet located in Iloilo City.
The PCSO said the total P401,186,804.80 jackpot will be subjected to a 20 percent tax under the TRAIN Law while the selling agent will get a 1% prize commission of the jackpot prize but not to exceed P1 million.
The PCSO said 71 winners, who fell a digit short from getting the jackpot, will get P100,000 each.
Meanwhile, a Cavite bettor went home P5.94 million richer after guessing the winning combination 27-18-26-13-02-03.
Some 84 bettors who guessed five out of the six digit combination won P24,000 each.
The PCSO said the bettors can claim their prizes at the main office in Mandaluyong City and present two IDs and the winning ticket.
All lotto draws are being aired live every 9 p.m. at PTV 4.
Lotto 6/42 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; Super Lotto 6/49 draw is every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday; Mega Lotto 6/45 is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday; Grand Lotto 6/55 draw is every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday; and Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw is every Tuesday Friday and Sunday.
