Una ng inihayag ni U.S Secretary of State Antony Blinken, handa silang makipagtulungan sa administrasyon bilang matagal nang magkaibigan ang dalawang bansa.
Umaasa ang Estados Unidos na makakatrabaho rin nila ng maayos ang bagong susunod na presidente ng Pilipinas.
Ginawa ni US State Department spokesman Ned Price ang pahayag kasunod sa isinagawang halalan sa Pilipinas.
Ayon kay Price kung sakaling pormal ng maproklama si president-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., ay saka naman makikipag-ugnayan sila sa bagong pamahalaan.
