12 winning senators sa 2022 polls, naiproklama na ng Comelec

NAIPROKLAMA na ng Commission on Elections (Comelec), na tumatayong National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), nitong Miyerkules ng hapon, ang lahat ng 12 nanalong senador sa katatapos na May 9, 2022 national and local elections sa bansa.

Isinagawa ang proklamasyon sa Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) sa Pasay City.

Kabilang sa mga iprinoklama ay ang actor na si Robin Padilla, ng PDP-Laban at nakakuha ng pinakamataas na botong 26,612,434, base sa latest partial at official vote count ng NBOC.


Sumunod naman si returning senator Antique Representative Loren Legarda (24,264,969 votes), broadcaster Raffy Tulfo (23,396,954), reelectionist Senator Sherwin Gatchalian (20,602,655), returning senator Sorsogon Governor Francis “Chiz” Escudero (20,271,458), dating Public Works and Highways secretary Mark Villar (19,475,592), Taguig Representative at dating senador Alan Cayetano (19,295,314), Senate Majority Leader Miguel Zubiri (18,734,336), Senator Joel Villanueva (18,486,034), dating senador JV Ejercito (15,841,858), lone opposition bet Senator Risa Hontiveros (15,420,807) at dating senador Jinggoy Estrada (15,108,625).

Ang mga naturang senador ay opisyal na manunungkulan sa puwesto sa Hunyo 30, 2022 ganap na alas- 12:01 ng hapon.


Ang Comelec en banc, na pinamumunuan ni chairman Saidamen Pangarungan, at Commissioners George Garcia, Rey Bulay, Aimee Ferolino, Aimee Torrefranca-Neri, Marlon Casquejo, at Socorro Inting, naman ang halinhinang nag-abot ng certificates of proclamation sa mga nanalong senatorial candidates.

Sa kaniyang talumpati, ipinagmalaki rin ni Pangarungan ang tagumpay ng katatapos na halalan na nakapagtala ng pinakamataas na voter turnout na 83.11% at mayroon ring pinakamababang election-related violence na nasa 16 lamang.


Nabatid na mula sa kabuuang 66,839,976 registered voters, mayroong 55,549,791 botante ang aktuwal na bumoto.

“As we usher in a new set of leaders from the local government units up to the national positions, I am proud to say that the Commission on Elections has successfully defended the sovereign right of the people to the democratic process of elections,” ani Pangarungan.

“Significantly, this is an election with a very efficient and flawless Transparency Server that received all election results in record time immediately after voting on election day.
