The National Anti-Poverty Commission- Formal Labor and Migrant Workers Sectoral Council (NAPC -FLMWSC), through Sectoral Representative Danilo Laserna, is calling on the House of Representatives to immediately pass the proposed P200 legislated across-the-board wage hike, the first of its kind since 1989.
This urgent demand is made in solidarity with over five million minimum wage earners nationwide, many of whom continue to struggle with poverty wages amid rising living costs.
With only five session days remaining, the labor sector urges lawmakers to deliver on the constitutional right to a living wage and take decisive action before the end of the current legislative session.
