Pinangunahan kahapon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., bilang commander in chief at Armed Forces of the Philippine chief of staff General Andres Centino ang pagdiriwang ng ika- 61st founding anniversary ng Special Forces Regiment Airborne (SFRA) ng Philippine Army sa Fort Magsaysay sa Palayan City, Nueva Ecija.
Kasabay nito ang pagsiguro ng suporta mula sa administrasyon sa mga nakalatag na capability upgrade ng elite force ng Philippine Army.
Ang pagdiriwang ay may temang ‘SFRA: Competent, Resilient, and Effective Special Operations Forces (SOF).’
Sa nasabing kaganapan, umani ng katiyakan ang Army’s Special Forces mula kay Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr, sa kaniyang commitment para sa elite force ng Philippine Army lalo na ang unconventional warfare strategy na malaking tulong sa kinakaharap na banta ng bansa.
Sa kanyang mensahe sa mga kagawad ng Airborne… “We assure you of the administration’s unassailable commitment and that of your Commander-in-Chief’s support of all your undertakings, strengthening your capabilities and ensuring your welfare and that of your families,” pahayag ni Pang. Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
“We are grateful to have witnessed the efforts that leveraged your expertise and demonstrate the core principles in the performance of your duties,” anang Pangulo na minsan na ring sumabak sa pagsasanay kasabayan ang mga elite soldiers ng Special Forces Regiment at sinasabing isang qualified Special Forces operator.
Pinanood ng Pangulo ang isang audio-visual presentation na hinanda ng SFRA at ipinagkaloob ang award sa mga combat awardees, unit awardees, at civilian and government official awardees sa nasabing pagtitipon.
Tinanggap naman ng SFRA ang Army Governance Pathway Proficient Status na may Gold Trailblazer mula sa Commander-in-Chief, kasama ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Andres Centino dahil sa pagpapakita ng kultura ng mabuting pamamahala at kahusayan sa pagganap.
Ang nasabing parangal ay tinanggap ni Special Forces Regiment Commander Brigadier General Ferdinand Napuli.
