Elmer Francis Pasion was sworn in as Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City’s 21st Phenomenal Leader President and Joint Effort of Pasay Rotary Clubs or JEPROCS’ 26th Chairman, both under Rotary International District 3810 led by District Governor Joyce Ambray. The affair was held at the Okada Grand Ballroom on Aug. 11, 2022.
Close to 250 Rotarians, guests, families and friends witnessed the momentous handover and induction. Adding to the event were Guest Speaker Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto–Rubiano who graced the event despite her very busy schedule and DPWH Undersecretary Maria Catalina Cabral.
PLP Elmer Francis Pasion or ‘Jun’ to his closest friends and family, was escorted by his young and hip family donned in Filipiniana attire which was also the theme for the celebration.
As he assumes presidency, PLP Elmer Francis Pasion vowed to lead his club and JEPROCS to new level of services and projects to the communities and beneficiaries. of which some are already underway.
“We are reminded everyday that service to others is the highest form of purpose in life, to everyone here tonight, we are fortunate enough to have the luxury to share. I invite all of you, let us work collectively and actively, and let us make this Rotary Year a remarkable one,’ PLP Elmer Francis Pasion stated in his speech.
He ended his inaugural address by giving commitment and full support to District Governor Joyce Ambray, a very gentleman gesture of a true leader. (TSJ)
