Rotary Clubs of Pasay sponsor 1st Day of Brigada Eskwela for this School Year’s Opening

The Joint Effort of Pasay Rotary Clubs (JEPROCS) headed by their Chairman Elmer Francis ‘Jun’ Pasion of RC Pasay Cyber City led today’s Brigada Eskwela kick-start at Padre Burgos Elementary School in Pasay City. Present during the said activity are the Phenomenal Leaders Presidents of RC Pasay Metro Sunrise, Sheena Nuñez, RC Dewey Pasay Blvd, Lorna Guling, RC Pasay Business District, Rey Daño, RC Pasay Maharlika, Dionisio Flores, RC Pasay Silangan, Jamer Yapchulay, Rc Pasay West, Francis Mandita, RC Pasay Edsa, Tony Cruz, RC Pasay Harrison, Ruth Salcedo, RC Pasay Friedens, Trina Toral, RC Pasay MOA, Emerson Abordo, RC Pasay MIA, Noah Cruz and RC Pasay Southeast, Thelma Daquioag under District Governor Joyce Michelle Socorro Ambray.

A total of 200 1st and 2nd Graders gathered with their parents and was led by their Principal, Mrs. Jean Rejuso, to accept the sponsored Backpacks with school supplies (crayon, pencil, writing pad, rain coat, and notebook), Multi-vitamins + Minerals, and snacks for the kids and parents. A story-telling session and tiktok dance was also enjoyed by the students together with the Rotarians who gamely joined the fun.


‘The efforts of our Educators to resume the face to face classes this school year is vital for the social and mental development of our students that is why the Rotary Clubs of Pasay is in full support to this objective. But as parents, let us all observe and help remind everyone to always follow the protocols against COVID-19 for a safe and inviting school year ahead,’ Elmer Francis A. Pasion.

Fourteen wheelchairs were also turned over by RC Pasay Cyber City Pasay PLP Elmer Francis A. Pasion and his Ph Cares-Pamayanang Handa organization as donation to the PLPs of the Pasay Rotary Clubs (JEPROCS) and their chosen beneficiary. (TSJ)
