INIHANDA ng Armed Forces of the Philippine ang kanilang mga military vehicles mula sa kanilang mga major service command kahapon para mga mamamayan na posibleng maaapektuhan ng kinasang three days transport strike simula nitong Lunes.
Bilang ayuda sa Department of Transportation (DOTr) at Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), 17 military trucks, buses, at coasters mula sa AFP Major Services at AFP Logistics Command kanilang inihanda para matulungan ang mga maaapektuhan ng transport strike na itinaon ng Grupong Manibela sa mismong araw ng ikalawang state of the Nation Address ni pangulong Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr.
Bahagi din umano ito ng pagsisikap ng AFP na tiyak para sa mapayapa at maayos na pagdaraos ng SONA ni pangulong Marcos.
Ayon ay AFP Spokesman Col Medel Aguilar, “the vehicles for the Libreng Sakay will be under the operational control of the JTF-National Capital Region.”
“ They are in their respective headquarters until they are given service routes determined by the DOTr and the MMDA. The military vehicles will be deployed when called upon by the Interagency Coordinating Center,” pahayag pa ni Col Aguilar.
