NADAKIP sa Philippine National Police- Criminal Investigation Detection Group Regional Field Unit- NCR ang isang nagpapakilalang partisano ng Communist Party of the Philippine-New Peoples Army Special Tactics Faction na siyang responsable sa multi million extortion racket sa mga private schools sa kalakhang Maynila.
Sa report na sinumite ni CIDG-RFU-NCR Director Police Col Randy Silvio kay PNP-CIDG chief, Police Maj. General Eliseo Cruz ay kinilala ang nadakip na nagpapakilalang NPA Special Tactics Faction na si Jake Castro y Dedumo, 26 anyos , isang teacher ng Jesus Cares Christian Academy, at naninirahan sa 153 KCI, Santos Drive, Vergara Compound, Brgy. Zapote, Las Piñas City.
Target naman ng manhunt operation ang isa pang sinasabing kasamahan nito sa extortion activities na bumibiktima ng mga paaralan sa NCR na si Dexter O. Gregorio , 42 , Tax and Legal Manager Sison Corillo Parone & Co., na naninirahan sa San Pedro, Laguna.
Ayon kay General Eliseo Cruz, inilunsad ng grupo ni Col Randy Silvio ang kanilang NCR-CIDG Flagship Project “OPLAN OLEA” and Salikop with Pre-Operational No. 04-22-2022-84-RFUNCR laban sa mga suspek matapos makatangap ng sumbong sa isang private school na hinihinalang pinaka huling biktima ng mga suspek matapos hingan sila ng P 2 million .
Kung hindi umano magbibigay ng hinihinging halaga ay pasasabugin ang paaralan at pagbabarilin ang mga estudyante.
Bandang alas 5:50 ng hapon nitong nakalipas na linggo ay nadakip ang suspek sa #153 KCI, Santos Drive, Vergara Compound, Brgy. Zapote, Las Piñas City matapos na sundan ng mga tauhan ni Col Silvio katuwang ang mga operatiba ng CIDG- RFU NCR (Lead unit ); Southern DFU; DID, MPD; DID, QCPD; DID, SPD; at RID, NCRPO pulis na nagpanggap na Lalamove driver na siyang naghatid ng pera.
Ikinasa ang police operation ng CIDG-RFU-NCR makaraang magsumbong si Maura Merida, Principal ng Sto. Niño Parochial School (SNPS), Ilocos Sur St., Bago Bantay, Quezon City nang makatangap sila ng electronic mail mula sa gmail account ng Special Tactics Faction ng New People’s Army na humihingi ng P 2,000,000.00. “In case the school failed to give said demand, they will bomb and blow the school into pieces and they will shoot the people inside the school without mercy.”
Ayon sa principal hindi nila kaya ang dalawang milyon dahil lubhang Malaki at wala na silang oras para makalikom ng ganung halaga kaya nakiusap itong ibaba na lamang sa P 500,000.00, at pinakiusapan ang suspect na tanggapin na ito.
Dito inilatag ng CIDG RFU NCR ang entrapment operation sa tulong ng LALAMOVE rider na siyang nag-picked up ng pera kay Pat Avendaño (who acted as school staff) sa harapan ng Sto Niño Parochial School sa Ilocos Sur St, Bago Bantay, Quezon City na siyang na-booked ng suspect para maghatid sa Santos Village III, (covered court) Brgy. Zapote, Las Piñas City.
Dito humalili ang isang pulis para umaktong LALAMOVE rider para personal na i-deliver ang pera. Pagsapit sa lugar ay tinawagan na niya ang suspek at ditto ay inutusan ang rider na dalhin ang pera sa No. 153 KCI Santos Drive, Vergara Compound, Brgy. Zapote, Las Piñas City at personal na inabot ang pera.
Nang makita ito ng mga operatiba ay agad na siyang dinamba ng mga pulis at binasahan ng kanyang mga karapatan at kung bakit siya inaresto.
Sa follow up investigation ng RFU-NCR napag alamang sa Consolidated Report mula RID, NCRPO na may 26 schools sa Metro Manila ang nakatanggap din ng mga ganitong pagbabanta at pangingikil .
