ISANG high-ranking leader ng Communist Party of the Philippines na may patong na P2.5 million ang nadakip nang masundan ng mga intelligence operatives ng Philippine National Police (PNP)- Police Regional Office (PRO) 6 sa Quezon City .
Sa isinumiteng report ni PNP-PRO 6 Director Police Brig General Leo Francisco kay PNP Chief Police General Rodolfo Azurin, Jr kinilala ang nadakip na ranking officer ng Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF)na si Adora Faye De Veyra alias Boying/Ato/Vida.
“I am pleased to announce the capture of another ranking officer of the communist terrorist group operating in Western Visayas,” pahayag ni Gen. Azurin sa isang pulong balitaan.
Nabatid na si De Veyra na may kasong rebellion at may reward money na inilaan para sa ikadarakip nito ay nahuli sa Maalalahanin Street, Teachers Village East , Quezon City nang masundan ito ng mga tauhan ni Bgen Francisco na nagsagawa ng law enforcement operation .
Si De Veyra ay sinasabing tumatayong staff officer ng general command ng CPP/NPA/NDF at secretary ng central front ng CPP-NPA regional committee sa Panay island.
Nahaharap ito sa kasong maramihang pagpatay at maramihang bigong pagpatay gamit ang pampasabog at landmines sa Iloilo City Regional Trial Court Branch 22. (VICTOR BALDEMOR)
