Former Manila Mayor now citizen Isko Moreno, cautioned the public, especially those from affected areas, against the threat of after shocks.
“Ipinagdadasal ko at ng aking pamilya ang kaligtasan ng lahat, lalung-lalo na ang ating mga kababayan sa Abra province, kung saan naramdaman ang magnitude 7.3 na lindol nitong umaga,” he said in a statement.
As such, Moreno said there is still the need to prepare for the possibility of aftershocks and to bear in mind the SOP (standard operating procedure) during earthquakes –duck, cover, and hold.
“Palagi po natin itong tandaan, kung sakaling tayo ay nasa opisina at makaramdam muli ng mga pagyanig,” he said.
Moreno added: ?Maghanda rin tayo ng emergency Go Bags na may lamang flashlight, lubid, kandila, posporo, first aid kit, pera, pagkain, tubig, at extrang damit. Ingat po tayong lahat! God bless po!”. (Baby Cuevas)
