Kinuwestiyon sa Supreme Court(SC) ng mga miyembro ng Makabayan Bloc sa House of Representative ang ginawang pag-sertipika ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. sa Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF) bilang isang urgent bill.
Sa 22- pahinang petisyon nina Bayan Muna Chairman Neri Colmenares, dating Bayan Muna party-list Representative Carlos Isagani Zarate, ACT party-list Representative France Castro, Gabriela party-list Representative Arlene Brosas, at Kabataan party-list Representative Raoul Manuel ,hiniling nila sa SC at pag-apruba ng House of Representatives.
“We ask the Honorable Court to void the presidential certification of the Maharlika Bill, as well as its approval on Third Reading, without a printed copy of the bill’s final form distributed to the Members at least three days before it is voted upon,” nakasaad sa petisyon.
Sina Marcos, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, at ang House of Representatives,ang tumayong respondent sa petisyon.
