A 42-year-old Lebanese national arriving from Doha, Qatar, was arrested at midnight Tuesday by the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group (AVSEGROUP) following verification by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
The suspect was intercepted during immigration inspection when authorities confirmed an active Warrant of Arrest issued by Hon. Rasing Emanuel Cacho, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, First Judicial Region, Branch 3, Baguio City, dated July 9, 2025. The warrant carried no bail recommendation.
The foreign national is currently under the custody of the NAIA Terminal 3 Police Station–AVSEU NCR for legal processing prior to turnover to the issuing court.
“The swift coordination between our police personnel and the Bureau of Immigration once again demonstrates the effectiveness of our relentless campaign against wanted persons in the country,” said AVSEGROUP Director, PBGEN Jay R Cumigad.
