BIBIGYAN bg parangal si Lea Salonga sa 91st Drama League awards na gaganapin sa May 16 sa Ziegfeld Ballroom.
Tatanggap siya ng Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theater Award.
Si Salonga ay Tony and Olivier Awardee dahil sa napakahusay niyang pagganap sa Miss Saigon at Les Misérables kaya naman nagpapatuloy siyang kumikinang bilang global theater icon.
Ang latest na recognition na ito ay dahil na malawak niyang contribution sa musical theater.

Gagampanan niya ang iconic role na The Witch, a character she first portrayed 30 years ago.
