Nagsampa ng kasong ‘sedition’ at inciting to edition ‘ ang Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) laban kina Apollo Quiboloy, Atty. Israelito Torreon, dating anti-communist task force spokesperson Lorraine Badoy, at ang àself-confessed New People’s Army (NPA) surrenderee Jeffrey Celis at ilang miyembro ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) .
Ang kaso na isinampa sa Department of Justice (DOJ) ay nag -ugat matapos ang ginawang pagsisilbi ng arrest warrant kay Quiboloy sa KOJC Compound ng mga awtoridad sa Davao City.
Hinarang umano ng mga akusado ang law enforcement na nagtangkang magsilbi ng arrest warrant kay Quiboloy.
“Their actions included calling on people to rise against the government and preventing police from serving the arrest warrants,” ayon kay CIDG chief PBGen Nicolas Torre.
Lilinawin umano sa preliminary investigation ang mga ginawa ng respondent.
Bukod sa mga opisyal ng KOJC ,SMNI , kabilang pa rin ang ilang miyembro ng grupo na sina Eleanor Cardona, Carlo Catil, Kathleen Kaye Laurente, Trinidad Arafol, Lord Byron Cristobal, Joey Espina Sun, Esteban Lava, Jose Lim III, lawyer Marie Dinah Tolentino-Fuentes at iba pa.
“Well, nakita niyo naman, the government is serving a warrant of arrest against the five fugitives and they are preventing us from doing so. So isa yun sa mga specific na mga offenses or acts na against sa officers. Meron talaga as collectively na ginawa nila against the government,” ayon pa kay Torre.
