A complaint posted by a motoring journalist on Facebook against an airline company exposed the latter’s policy which he said, may endanger passengers traveling via the said airline.
Anjo Perez, Editor-in-chief of the Wheels Ph and Autocar Ph, narrated his complaint through an FB post titled, “#AirAsiaPH Sucks!!!” dated September 27, 2022.
In it, he said that he was supposed to fly to Boracay with his family but a last minute test showed that he was positive for COVID-19. He also posted pictures of his COVID-positive tests.
“Asked the check-in agents if we can rebook our tickets. No can do, according to them. They’d rather have me onboard the flight and infect all their passengers,” Perez said.
Perez said he took it upon himself not to push through with the flight because “ayaw kong makahawa lalo na sa matatanda.”
Meanwhile, a certain Karlo Carongoy of Air Asia said they have already reached out to Perez to look into possible arrangements regarding the problem on his flight. (Jerry Tan)
