Infamous Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy transferred to BJMP custody

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) confirmed that Russian national and controversial YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy has been transferred to the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).last June 11 as he faces more local cases in the Philippines.

It was learned that Zdorovetskiy will remain in the BJMP’s custody until the resolution of his court cases, before he will be returned to the BI for deportation.


BI spokesperson Dana Sandoval also confirmed that Zdorovetskiy previously requested for temporary release under bail, but the agency emphasized that no such relief has been granted.

In a document submitted to the BI, Zdorovetskiy claimed he has no intention of evading deportation, and pledged to stay within the National Capital Region. He also stated that he would immediately submit himself to BI custody should a deportation order be issued against him.

The BI confirmed the receipt of Zdorovetskiy’s request but made it clear that the Bureau is not inclined to grant his appeal.


Zdorovetskiy, a Russian content creator notorious for producing offensive prank videos and engaging in problematic behavior during his stay in the Philippines, was apprehended in April following reports of immigration violations.

Sandoval reiterated that foreign nationals who commit acts harmful to public order will be subject to deportation under Philippine law.
