The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) assures passengers that their comfort and convenience remain a priority as rehabilitation works continue at the Davao International Airport Passenger Terminal Building (PTB).
CAAP apologizes for any discomfort caused by the warmer-than-usual temperature in some pre-departure gate lounges. The floor-mounted air-conditioning units serving Gate Lounges 4 to 8 have been temporarily de-energized to allow ongoing civil works, including wall improvement and cladding, to proceed safely, said CAAP spokesman Eric Apolonio,
As part of the rehabilitation project, the air-conditioning system serving these gate lounges is also being upgraded. In the meantime, CAAP has deployed air coolers in the affected areas as an interim measure.
