Inihayag ng Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) na ang mga gagawin nitong pagdinig ukol sa flood control anomalies ay hind nila ila-livestreame.
Ayon kay executive director Brian Keith Hosaka, ito ay upang maiwasan ang ‘trial by publicity’ at anumang ‘political influence.’
Gayunman, sinabi ni Hosaka napag-uusapan pa din ng Komisyon kung paano ang gagawin sa gitna ng ‘demand’ ng publiko na ito ay i-live para may ‘transparency.’
“Currently, the ICI hearings are not livestreamed. This is the present policy of the commission. The initial hearings, so far, are for purposes of case build-up for criminal, civil, and administrative action,” ani Hosaka.
“The ICI is avoiding trial by publicity, and will not allow it to be used for any political leverage or agenda by any individual or group,” dagdap pa niya.
