The Bureau of Immigration (BI) reported that it processed a total of 15.6 million passenger arrivals nationwide in 2025, reflecting sustained growth in international travel to and from the Philippines.

Records show that immigration officers at all international ports of entry recorded 15,608,868 arrivals from January to December 2025, including 6,704,007 foreign nationals.

BI spokesperson Dana Sandoval said the figure represents an almost six percent increase compared to the 14,733,597 arrivals recorded in 2024.

In a statement, the BI emphasized that the bureau remains committed to supporting the government’s tourism and economic objectives through continuous modernization of immigration processes—expanding automated systems, upgrading facilities and strengthening its manpower to ensure faster, more secure and more convenient immigration services for travelers.

The BI also said it will continue to align its programs with the national government’s push for digitalization and efficient public service delivery, while maintaining vigilance against transnational crimes and travel-related abuses.
